Literature for Drug Awareness is available to all Lodges. For proper documentation and accountability, the following ordering procedures must be followed:

Welcome to the Florida Elks Drug Awareness information page. Below you will find details regarding ordering supplies needed for your Drug Awareness events. You will also find instructions on the use of the Elroy the Elk costume and the Drug Awareness Trailers.

Literature for Drug Awareness is available to all Lodge's Please select the “ DAP GL Supplies” link to the left for details on ordering literature. Comic books are available only to schools for classroom instruction. There you find the necessary form for ordering. This form is to be completed by you and submitted to The FSEA Drug Awareness State Chairman, Elsha Duquet. Please email this form to eduquet1511@gmail.com The State Chairman will place this order for you through Grand Lodge. Lodges will be limited to 1,000 pieces of literature per year, with limited exceptions.

To order Plastic Bags use the “DAP FSEA Supplies” link to the left. When you submit this order they will go directly to the FSEA to be shipped direct to you. Lodges will be limited to 1,000 of these per year. Please allow 2-3 weeks for orders to arrive.

Basketballs and Soccer balls should be ordered directly from Sterling Sports. To place your order, call 1-800-767-1765 or email them at info@sterlingathletics.com.

All other Elks Drug Awareness promotional items should be ordered directly from the GL sponsored vendor, Choice Printing, Some of the items available to purchase include balloons, frisbees,balsa gliders, mini-footballs and rubber band bracelets.

All districts have an Elroy the Elk costume for their district use. New rules and procedures can be found on the menu at the left.

If your Lodge would like to use a Drug Awareness Trailer, please complete the trailer application form and submit it to Stephen "Steve" Conrad, PER , State Vice Chair DAP at “conradsa@aol.com” He will review it and if all information is complete he will forward the request to the appropriate drug trailer manager for the trailer's release. If there is a problem with the form information, He will contact the requesting person to correct the problem in order to get the trailer to you.

Please understand that this procedure is to keep track of the drug programs assets and to allow us to track and run the program more efficiently.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks welcomes you to the resource center for the Elks National Drug Awareness Program-the largest volunteer drug awareness program in the United States. We are very proud of our dedicated army of volunteer’s who freely give their time and talents to this most noble cause.


The Elks are committed to eliminating the use and abuse of illegal drugs by all members of society and believe that in order to ensure a bright future for our country, it is essential that our children be raised in a drug-free environment.
